Winter soup

Soup is probably one of the easiest and very tasty ways to incorporate a multitude of healthy and good for your ingredients in no time.

You can choose specific ingredients that are rich in nutrients, sweet and delicious in order to nourish you. Add a few spices like turmeric or cinnamon (old Chinese herbs) to bust the taste and your immune system.

Our stomach and spleen are responsible for digestion. In order for the food to be digested, the stomach need to bring that food to a temperature range that’s suitable for digestion.

The optimal temperature is about 37 degrees Celsius so whatever food we eat that is cooler than that, the Stomach will need to warm it up before digesting it.

And that takes a lot of energy.

If you’re feeling a little down (deficient as we would say), you might have a slow digestion, or other problems with your digestive system, you should try and make things as easy as possible for your tummy.

A warm meal might be all you need to make you feel better. Especially on a cold winter’s day.

Bon Appetite!
